Brief Note of Meat Product And Frozen Buffalo Meat:
The vast buffalo population is makes India No. 1 in the World buffalo population. India’s export of Buffalo (bovine) meat has increased from Rs. 2629.56 Crores (USD Million 593.98) in 2005-06 to Rs. 3211.70 Crores (USD Million 712.44) in 2006-07. Frozen Buffalo (bovine) meat dominated the exports with a contribution of over 97%. The demand for bovine meat in international market has sparked a sudden increase in the meat exports from India. The major markets for Indian Buffalo meat & Meat Product are Malaysia, Philippines, Mauritius, Gulf countries South Africa and China. Indian buffalo meat and Meat Product is witnessing strong demand in international markets due to its lean character and near organic nature. India has number of state of the art meat slaughter houses for buffaloes.
The slaughtering of buffalo, Goat and sheep is done in accordance with the strict sanitation and hygiene norms and processing plant is approved by the competent authorities of APEDA, Govt of India. Now we are manufacturing & exporting frozen meat and meat Products also apart from Dried Cattle Casings and Salted Sheep Casings. In this connection, we are receiving requisitions from various foreign buyers.
